BACK FALL: ROLL OVER

DESCRIPTION: Stay relaxed, and get close to the ground before impact, think of a falling leaf.  Both arms come across your body, tuck your chin forward.  As you fall back and your shoulder blades touch the floor, slap with both arms, your palms will be facing down towards the floor.  You also need to look to one of your slapping hands to help prevent you from hitting your head on the floor.
 
1.  Both arms are folded across the body and the head is tucked forward.  Stay relaxed!!! 2.  Keep your head tucked and look toward a slapping hand.  Arch your back a little to help you roll back.  With that motion, you will keep rolling back toward a shoulder.
3.  Pick a shoulder to roll over and tuck your head to the opposite side so that you do not roll over your head. 4.  As you come up, prop your leg and keep your hands in a ready position to quickly defend yourself.
